At tonight’s board meeting, we celebrated our “A” rating from TEA with confetti poppers, recognizing the hard work and dedication of our incredible staff and students! WHO says we can’t have fun in board meetings?!

This achievement is a reminder of how important it is for us to model the same positive culture in our board meetings that we want to see in our classrooms. Just as we expect powerful teaching and learning in our schools, we must demonstrate collaboration, respect, and a focus on student success in every decision we make as a board. If we want a positive, thriving culture in our schools, it starts with how we lead in the boardroom.
