PC is the Place to Be!

There are two pictures that were sent to me today that were a refreshing reminder of how great we have things at PC!
The first picture is of our newest staff member. Apparently, it has become a game among our staff to hide “Bob” in random places (Sorry Mrs. McLemore). The laughter is common at PC—a sign of happy employees and a loving environment, both of which I’ve learned not to take for granted!

Don’t underestimate the value of having fun. Yes, it’ll make you feel better, but it’s also contagious. Your happiness will radiate and inspire others.

The second picture was sent to me by a couple of our rockstar teachers, Mrs. Acosta and Ms. Guerra. This may not seem like a big deal to some, but it is to me. The school pride radiates from our kids, employees, and environment.

Students and staff alike want to feel connected and know that they are seen, valued, and heard within a school community. When these needs aren’t met, they often disengage or look elsewhere for a sense of belonging. It is our duty—and a vital part of our role as school leaders and educators—to foster a culture where both students and staff not only feel like they belong but also inspire and encourage others to belong as well.

You don’t have to look very hard to see that PC is the place to be!
